蔡慧貞

HuiDance匯舞集團長暨藝術總監，義大利 Dance World A.S.D客席編舞家與現代舞教師。國立台北藝術大學講師。前瑞士伯恩市立芭蕾舞團Stadttheater Bern Ballet（現為Konzert Theater Bern）首要獨舞者及教師。前雲門舞集舞者。

1992-1997 以優異成績進入國立藝術學院（National Institute of the Arts） ，現為國立台北藝術大學（Taipei National University of the Arts)。1996 發表「錯置」、1997 發表「摩登話畫鳥」，獲得文建會主辦、舞蹈學會協辦的「舞躍大地舞蹈創作比賽」之銅牌獎、銀牌獎及最佳服裝設計；擔任舞蹈空間和德國多特蒙德之客席舞者；風動舞團之排練助理。1998 受廖末喜舞蹈劇場之邀、參與『台南府城藝術節』的演出，編創「浪漫青春」；發表「情色」獲得文建會主辦、舞蹈學會協辦的「舞躍大地舞蹈創作比賽」之佳作。1998-2001 加入雲門舞集；曾隨團參與紐約下一波藝術節（Next Wave Arts Festival）、德國柏林藝術節、法國里昂雙年藝術節、澳洲奧林匹克藝術節等。1999 參加雲門舞集2主辦之「亞太青春編舞營」 發表「封景」。三十舞蹈劇團「獨舞拾景—1999十人獨舞聯展」 發表「隙語」。2002-2003 到法國進修，期間加入巴黎NDP Project音樂劇場，與Martino Muller工作，參與「灰姑娘」(Cindy)音樂劇於巴黎Palais des Congres劇院的演出。返台後，擔任國立台北藝術大學張曉雄編創「夢幻蝴蝶谷」之排練指導，於國家戲劇院演出；2003年獲選國家實驗劇場『新點子舞展』編舞者徵選，舞作「隨影」受邀於2004年「羅夢真、嚴守潔畢業製作」，於國立台北藝術大學舞蹈廳正式演出，並更名為「殘影」。2004-2006 再度加入雲門舞集，演出「水月」、「流浪者之歌」、「行草」、「行草貳」、「狂草」、「紅樓夢」等經典舞作，並與編舞家伍國柱工作，演出「在高處」。2007 受張曉雄之邀於國家劇院兩廳院「二十周年慶雙人舞展」演出「風景」。同年獲瑞士伯恩國家芭蕾舞團藝術總監Cathy Marston賞識，受邀擔任舞團的主要獨舞者並授課於團員。與Hans Van Manen、Jiri Kylian、Didy Veldman、Hofesh Shechter、Doug Varone、Karole Armitage、Mark Bruce、Medhi Walerski、Alexander Ekman、Andrea Miller、Cathy Marston等國際知名編舞家合作演出。2008 為廖末喜舞蹈劇場年度製作編舞，發表『飄』(亦名為『愛情』)。2009 獲選台灣代表，參加台灣國際青年編舞營 (International Young Choreographer Project)，發表「心囚」(Trapped Heart)。2010 應邀授課於台北藝術大學舉辦之「國際菁英學堂」。2010 隨伯恩市立芭蕾舞團於倫敦Linbury Studio Theater演出Cathy Marston作品『克拉拉』(Clara) 擔任劇中女主角, 並演出 Andrea Miller作品『Howl』。2007-2011 於伯恩市立劇院發表「Into Dust」、「In Between」，「Into you I」、「Lost in the motions」、「Been Monitored」、「Roots」,所發表之作品獲得瑞士舞評家之好評。2011 創立「HuiDance 匯舞集」。2012 發表創團首作『門The Door』於台南文化中心原生劇場、高雄衛武營發表演出，並受邀關渡藝術節、華山生活藝術節Showcase。受邀為高雄市立左營高中舞蹈班畢業公演編舞，與Francesco D’Astici共同編創 『穿越』。受高雄市對位室內樂團邀請，為精緻室內樂系列音樂會《別名浪漫》編舞。台灣代表參加2012北京跨藝.舞動無界『光與水』中外當代舞蹈創作交流，編創『匯流』。2013 受邀為台南佳佳西市場旅店，李康生設計的房間（『佳佳有本經-錄影中，請微笑』），戴倫.強斯頓Darren Johnston設計的『合覺房』編創演出『幻影Phantom』。受台南藝術節之邀，於城市舞台-台南B.B ART編舞演出『雙翼.雙藝』。HuiDance匯舞集2013舞蹈X現場音樂跨國跨界作品『風景Scenery』編舞。

• • Hui-Chen is the founder and artist director of Huidance Taiwan, contemporary teacher in Dance World A.S.D      in Italy. Lecturer in Taipei National University of the Arts. Former first soloist  in Switzerland Stadttheater Bern Ballet (Konzert Theater Bern). Former dancer of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre. She  graduated from the Dance Department of The National Institute of the Arts (Taipei National University of the Arts). She majored in both choreography  and performance. Her dance work "Misplaced Relationship" won the Copper Award in Taiwan Creative Dance Competition held by Council for Cultural Affairs in1996. In 1997, she was the guest dancer in Dance Forum Taipei and Stadttheater Dortmound, Germany as well as the rehearsal assistant of Wind Flyers Dance Laboratory. The same year, her choreography "Painted Bird" won the Silver Award and the Best Costume Design Award of Taiwan Creative Dance Competition held by Council of Culture Affairs. 
  • She joined Cloud Gate Dance Theater  in 1998 and took part in the performances in Next Wave Arts Festival in New York, Arts Festival in Germany, Lyon Dance Festival in France, Olympic Arts Festival in Australia. In1999, she participated the young choreographer project hold by Cloud Gate 2, presented choreography "Seal Scenery". During her stay in France in the year 2002 and 2003, she joined the NDP Project music theater and worked with Martino Muller. After returning to Taiwan, she worked as the rehearsal director of the "Dream Butterfly Valley" choreography by Xiao-Xion Chang under Taipei National University of the Arts, performed in Taipei National Theater. She returned to Cloud Gate Dance Theater in the year 2004. 
  • In 2007, she joined Stadttheater Bern Ballet (Konzert Theater Bern) under the direction of Cathy Marston in Switzerland and worked with the distinguished choreographers such as Hans Van Manen, Doug Varone, Karole Armitage, Cathy Marston, Didy Veldman, Guilherme Botelho, Mark Bruce, Alexandra Ekman, Medhi Walerski and danced work by Jiri Kylian. 
  • She created "Into Dust" and "In Between" in 2008, " Into you I" and "Lost in the Motions" in 2009, " Been Monitored" in 2010, "Roots" in 2011, performed by Stadttheater Bern Ballet. The above all won excellent appreciation from dance critics of Switzerland. 
  • In 2011, she found the Huidance in Taiwan. In 2012, 『The Door』choreography by Hui-Chen and Francesco D'Astici was invited to Taipei Kuandu Arts Festival 2012, Huashan living Arts Festival showcase 2012, performed inTainan Culture Center, Yuanshen Theater, Kaohsiung WeiWuYin Arts Center. In 2012, She's invited to choreography in Arts Cross, Dans Cross 2012 in Beijing. In 2013,  her work 『Phantom』was made for dancing on the site, collaborated with Tainan JJ-W Culture Design Hotel. Her work『Wings』was invited to participate Tainan Arts Festival performed in a specific site of stage-Tainan B.B Art. She choreographed with Francesco D'Astici for  HuiDanace production-- Dance X Live Music 『Scenery』, performed in Tainan Culture Center-Yuanshen Theater & Taipei Ximen The Red House.
